Your liver was built to heal itself. Let's help it remember how.
Three days of group healing sittings, held online on Zoom or in person at the Goa Ashram. You don't perform anything — Bhaiyaji does the sadhana. You simply sit quietly. Offered alongside your doctor's care, never instead of it.

Two short talks from Bhaiyaji
Short enough to watch before you decide anything. Tap either one — it opens right here and starts playing.
Param Pujya Bhaiyaji
Param Pujya Bhaiyaji is a realized yogi carrying the living wisdom of the Ancient Science of Shiva. Initiated at a young age by his Guru, Gurubhagwan Shivdutta Maharaj, he has spent decades in deep tapasya and mantra sadhana.
Over years of practice, Bhaiyaji has studied how subtle energy moves through the body, and how specific sadhana can be directed toward specific imbalances. Families and seekers often note his precision — he doesn't offer the same practice to everyone. He listens first, then discerns what a person's energy is asking for.
His sessions are not lectures. They're personal and unhurried — held for one group at a time.
Your core experience each day: 2 to 4 live sittings where Bhaiyaji performs the mantra sadhana himself, while you simply sit.
Between sittings, Bhaiyaji unpacks the traditional understanding behind what just happened — so you understand the process, not just experience it.
Honest, practical guidance on the everyday habits that matter most for your liver and digestion, to carry on after the shivir ends.
Not sure yet? Bring your questions to Bhaiyaji directly in a live group session for ₹102, with no obligation to join the shivir afterwards.
You service your car every year. When did you last think about your liver?
Tucked under your right ribs, your liver runs more than 500 jobs, around the clock, and rarely complains until it's struggling. Here's a little of what it's doing for you right now.
Cleanses your blood
It filters out alcohol, medicines and everyday toxins, keeping your bloodstream clear.
Fuels your body
It stores and releases energy on demand, and manages your fat stores.
Builds essential proteins
These carry substances through your blood, help it clot, and fight infection.
Balances your hormones
Thyroid hormones, cortisone and more all pass through the liver's regulation.
Manages cholesterol
It produces cholesterol and converts it into substances your body needs.
Aids digestion
It produces bile, which breaks down fat so your body can use it.
Supports a calmer temper
A settled digestive system tends to mean a settled mood — when the gut is under strain, irritability and short tempers often follow close behind.
The body's biggest regulator
It's the largest organ inside you, and in the traditional understanding, when it's out of balance the ripple effects show up almost everywhere else.
Signs your liver might be asking for attention
- Feeling unusually tired, heavy or low on energy
- Disturbed sleep, or waking through the night
- Mild tenderness on the upper right side of your belly
- Occasional nausea or a reduced appetite
- Feeling generally unwell without a clear reason
- Constipation, or motions that never quite feel complete
- A bloated, pushed-out feeling that seems to sit right under your ribs
These can have many causes. A simple blood test with your doctor is the only way to know what's really going on — please don't self-diagnose from a list.
Here's the hopeful part
Medical research is clear on one thing: the liver is one of the few organs that can genuinely repair itself. Early damage — even a fair amount of it — can often be improved once the underlying cause is addressed, whether that's alcohol, weight, diet, or a treatable condition like viral hepatitis.
None of that replaces your doctor. But it does mean that the small, steady changes you make — and the calm you're able to hold while making them — genuinely matter.

Why a struggling liver shows up as a struggling gut
In the traditional understanding Bhaiyaji teaches, your liver is the biggest, busiest organ you have — and almost everything downstream depends on it running well. As food moves through your small intestine, your body draws out its essence and turns it into blood; when the liver is under strain, that whole process backs up, gas has nowhere to go but up, and your belly stays heavy instead of settling.
When it's working well, the signs are simple: your belly feels light rather than pushed-out under your ribs, and your mornings go easily, without straining. That's really what the shivir's sittings are aiming at — steadier digestion, from the root.
Simple habits Bhaiyaji often shares
- Eat until you're satisfied, not until you're full — your digestive fire works best without being overloaded
- Leave 3 to 4 hours between meals, so the last one has time to fully digest
- Sip warm water with meals rather than cold, and go easy on water right after eating
- Chew slowly and thoroughly — it's the simplest way to lighten digestion's workload
Care for the root, and the whole gut benefits
Your liver and your digestion are deeply connected — when one struggles, so does the other. That's why the shivir looks at the two together, rather than one symptom at a time.
Ayurvedic tradition places the liver close to the heart of digestion itself. Bhaiyaji often explains it like this: the food you eat is drawn through the small intestine, where its essence — its rasa — is extracted, much like juice pressed from fruit. That rasa is then coloured by what tradition calls ranjaka pitta, and becomes blood. If there's ever a concern with your blood, the first place to look, he says, is the liver.
The large intestine works differently, governed by Agni, the digestive fire — it firms up what the body doesn't need so it can be released cleanly. When the liver is under strain, this whole rhythm gets disturbed: gas moves upward instead of down, the abdomen stays heavy, and elimination becomes difficult. Supporting the liver, he says, is where that rhythm begins to settle again.
He teaches one simple daily habit alongside the sadhana: eat only once your last meal is properly digested — roughly three to four hours — chew slowly, and stop before you're full. Overeating, in his words, "smothers the fire" your body needs to digest well in the first place.
And he's equally clear about where this practice ends: it works with subtle energy, habit and awareness — never in place of medical treatment. If someone is hospitalised or under active medical care, this sadhana is never used to interfere with what a doctor is doing; it's held gently, in the background, alongside it.

A space to breathe, alongside your medical care — never instead of it
This is a spiritual and meditative practice, offered as a companion to whatever medical treatment you're already receiving. Bhaiyaji doesn't diagnose or treat liver disease. He offers a traditional sadhana practice, a calmer nervous system, and a nudge toward the daily habits your liver depends on.
This session is
- A group healing shivir — Bhaiyaji performs the mantra sadhana himself
- Quiet sittings where you simply sit, with nothing asked of you
- Bhaiyaji explaining the science behind what he is doing spiritually
- Honest guidance on the daily habits your liver depends on
- A release from stress, and a real sense of calm
This session is not
- A mantra or meditation course — no mantra is taught or shared
- A practice you have to learn, chant or perform at home
- A diagnosis, scan, blood test or medical treatment
- A reason to pause medication or doctor visits
Three days. Two to four healing sittings each day.
Each sitting runs close to an hour of simply sitting quietly, with Bhaiyaji explaining the science behind it in between.
Joining in person
You attend at the ashram where the shivir is being held, and sit with the group in the same space as Bhaiyaji for each session.
How each day unfolds
Sessions begin around 10 AM. Most days bring two sittings in the morning and, depending on how Bhaiyaji reads the group's energy, one or two more after lunch — some days none are needed at all. He sees every person individually, and if something in your body still needs attention, he'll tell you directly what to do.
Sit somewhere quiet
A room where nobody will disturb you. Lights off, if that's possible for you.
Stay still for about an hour
One sitting runs close to an hour. There's nothing to chant and nothing to perform.
Bhaiyaji does the work
The mantra sadhana is his. It isn't taught, shared or handed to you to repeat.
Then he explains it
Between sittings he unpacks the science of what just happened, for this group.
Settling in, and understanding the root
Bhaiyaji hears what the group is carrying, then shares the traditional understanding of digestion and energy — explored just for this group.
The deeper sittings
The longest stretch of the shivir — Bhaiyaji works across several sittings while you simply sit, then explains how it's understood to work on the body.
Completion, and your direction forward
The closing sittings, followed by Bhaiyaji's guidance on daily habits for your liver — and an open, no-pressure look at what's next.
